We do not share any user data on social media channels. However, we may use tools usage data, eBook, and course analytics for internal purposes to improve our services. We do not access or use any data from connected Xero organizations, and all such data is securely stored on third-party cloud environments like AWS.
Our "Xero to Google Sheets" tool connects to your Xero organization via OAuth, allowing us to fetch and process your organization"s data. You will also be prompted to connect your Google account, providing the necessary permissions for Google Drive and Google Sheets.
We store your OAuth credentials for both Xero and Google in our secure database to facilitate asynchronous requests to these services for business purposes. At present, we do not refresh these tokens; however, in the future, we may offer features such as automation, which will require storing and refreshing these tokens as necessary.
You can connect a form on UltimateXeroguide.com to our Google Sheet integration. This will allow you to sync your Xero organisation data (e.g., reports, organisations details, chart of accounts) and pass it to a spreadsheet.
When you connect our Google Sheet integration, we ask you to pass the Google account authorization process. We ask your permission to create files on your Google Drive and manage the files that we created (we cannot see or edit other files on your Google Drive).
After the spreadsheet is created, we give it permanent writing access to our app. This will allow us to populate this particular spreadsheet with data that is passed from your Xero organisations.
After the spreadsheet is created and given writing access, we store your access tokens and never refresh it, effectively useless after the expiry. This means we do not store the access to your Google Drive or any other Google account info.
We keep writing access to the created spreadsheet. It is needed to send data that comes from your Xero organisations connected with UltimateXeroguide.com. We pass fetched data directly to the spreadsheet that was created during the authorization process. We do not save fetched data on our end. We do not analyze fetched data.
